When Marta Taronna and Sarah Parisi decided to launch the Arturo brand, two fundamental objectives were set: respecting the planet through the use of exclusively sustainable materials and all-Italian production to guarantee the highest quality on the market and the use of certified high-quality cotton.

The entire production chain, except for cotton cultivation, which benefits from Egypt's excellence in the sector, takes place in Italy and is completely traceable.

Suppliers are members of the Better Cotton Initiative, the world's largest cotton sustainability program, and the yarns have various certifications including Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex, one of the leading systems for independent and uniform international testing and certification for raw materials.

Arturo is a quality product designed to last as long as possible to encourage responsible purchasing. With every pair of socks purchased on the e-commerce site, a spool of thread in the color of the purchased sock's tip is sent to encourage active consumer involvement and give the product a second life after eventual wear.

These founding values, the choices, and the daily commitment at the base of the Arturo company structure allowed it, in January 2020, to be among the top 10 finalists of the WSM White Smart Contest. One of the most important contests in the sector, aimed at emerging start-ups with a focus on sustainability and supply chain traceability.

The goal is to make Arturo a Made in Italy brand founded by two women entrepreneurs under 30, a virtuous model through a process that in this sector has often been sidelined. And that today is increasingly seen as a real urgency for environmental protection.

SUSTAINABILITY IS THE JOURNEY THAT ARTURO WANTS TO CONSTANTLY TAKE IN SEARCH OF NEW CHALLENGES TO IMPROVE HIMSELF
